Cleaning low pass filter D2x

Yes, use the EH-6 AC adapter to engage the mirror lockup feature in the set-up menu. It is grayed out until you plug in the AC as a protection factor. Remove the lens. Turn the camera on. Lock the mirror up. ONLY use air to blow off any dust. Do not touch the sensor. I use a Giotto Air Rocket with the lens opening facing the ground so the dust particles fall out. Turn the camera off and the mirror drops back down into place. I think I remembered everything. Your manual will have these instructions step-by-step. Hope this helps.

very true - only if you get too close. but you risk the same with the EH-6. For any thing other than a light speck - take it too your dealer
