Does anyone have Information on Kunming in China

Hi folks,

My son has invited me over next month, to Kunming in the Yunnan provence of China. I will be flying to Hong Kong from the UK. Has anyone got advice for me as how to get to Kunming from Hong Kong and who I should use for taxis/buses from the airport to the train station if I use the train to get to Kunming?
Does anyone know of any photo shops in Kunming as well.
Any other help would be greatly appreciated.
