I've taken out my older DP2Merrill to refamiliarize myself with the camera, to consider whether I'll use it during travel this summer. It's huge advantage: easy and light to carry. Disadvantage: having to compose photos on the screen rather than through an optical viewfinder. I took a series of photos yesterday, put some up on my flickr link, and hope for decent weather Saturday and Easter Sunday on Skyline Drive nearby in Virginia. Here's one shot. Our weeping cherry tree is in full bloom. Full EXIF and more photo details on my flickr page

Hi Sandy. The flowering trees are a visual spectacle :)
As I have commented in another thread, the handicap of the lack of a visor is also an obstacle for me. Does anyone have experience with external view finders?
