finally we know for sure what happens next with dpreview.
DPreview was sold to Gear Patrol today:

We do not know what will change there, we do not know whether they will keep the dpreview forums alive. I guess they will communicate that soon. I hope that this will not be the same disaster like with imaging-resource.
Just to make one thing sure: DPRforum.com will continue, no matter the outcome of this sale. Do not worry.
As already said in the past, we have many reasons to continue and hope that you enjoy your time here in the future too.

Did you all see the new banner at DPR? : I guess they've just been hammering out the legal details behind the scenes. Time to go check out Gear Patrol and make a guess at how good DPR will be in the long term. The details in the link from the screenshot above are here...
