Elon Musk's Starlink

I read Starlink Satellites could be a problem for Astronomers and Astrophotographers. Many more could be going up, up to 42000?

"Spacex launched its first round of 60 Starlink satellites into Earth's lower orbit in May 2019 on one of SpaceX's Falcon 9 rockets. Today, the company has over 4,000 of its satellites in orbit, and Musk has said he eventually wants to send up to 42,000 satellites into space."

Yeah, the biggest problem may be the increased risk for an ablation cascade.
However, given Musk's track record, I pretty much ignore any of his predictions and promises. The discrepancy between what he has promised in the past and what he actually delivered, is humongous.

I was out camping a few month back. You always look at the sky when it's pitch black. Well, it used to be cool to see a satellite or two but now it's cross town traffic. I 've seen three satellite's at once. Seen them cross paths like a street intersection. It's still fun, but different. Then there's the thousands of pieces of "street" debris that's floating around up there just waiting to flatten your tire.
