I resized at 640 since this is the biggest I could uploaded. I printed some and they look great however some graininess was picked up on some images that had a big difference in lighting between subject and background. I may try spot metering to see if I can correct this...

I cant' seem to see other picts than the # 1, 5 and 7 in your link but anyway I retrieve the fine color rendition of the Digilux 1.
There is also bit of digital noise in the shadows but it is easy to adjust with Photoshop Elements or noise correction sofwares.
Can you set the contrast, sharpness and saturation to low, standard and high like in the Digilux 1?

Hello all,
I took some 150 photo's in Prague a few weeks ago. Some of them are shown at
http://home.hetnet.nl/~bartr/index.html.
I had to upload them as *.pdf-files, due to the maximum filesize of 150 kB for jpeg-files.

Would you show us more Dlux shot without retouch? Nice images by the way.
i take it no one cares for the d-lux cam' anymore. is it because everyone is coming out w/ 4...5..and up m-pixel cameras for cheap? I still think the d-lux takes great pic's for it's age. maybe even rivals some 5mp cameras. anybody have pic's made w/ the d-lux (not digilux)that they are happy with and are proud to show? let me know or post the site here. i've seen pic's from this guys site and i thought wow that's a d-lux! http://homepage.mac.com/macgarvin/Menu15.html i've heard that the digital leica's are not "true" leica's. and that they are just a rebadged panasonic. but with all the leica praise for being the best personal cam' out there... i think the company would do everything in there power to make sure that what comes out on the shelves are up to "there" standards in order to put that leica "badge". just my OP'. STOP HATIN' AND START SHOOTIN'!!!
