go the D200, I just got one five days ago, so far so good.. the thing is a beast!.. I moved up from canon gear, and i love this thing. it's quick as.. by the time you power it on and move your finger to hit the snapper button and its already taken 5 frames before you get your finger off the button!.. it's very quick! quick enough to suck dry a 2gb card in 58 seconds flat if you like forget to take your finger off the snapper button!
so far the battery has lasted about 1500 shots on the first charge, i've only recharged it once with 26% life left as i didn't want to go flat on the next days shoot! lol
right now it's got 65% charge left with 562 shots taken on this charge. the battery is a beast too!
you can double res it to 20"x30" too, the images are clean, low noise and detailed.
so detailed i have a head shot here and you can see me in the eye, in detail! I'll crop it at 100% and post the eye up in a tick too.

just use capture one for raw processing as works just fine with the D200!.
