Thank you for your kind comments, I just enjoy taking the photos and endeavoring to reproduce the colors.. I maybe take 60-70 flower/garden images per week, maybe 10 make the final cutI like #1... the very nice soft/muted pink with the dark green background. Do you have an external host site/repository? I must admit, I am a pixel-peeper and I like seeing details! I know, it's a disease. But I am not the best at art/composition, so I tend to get some satisfaction from the technical side of things... like focused images that are sharp/detailed at full size. Pano stitching, etc. Isn't that a part of photography? Not all of it, but some of it. I probably put too much emphasis on that (even though I'm not going to enlarge to billboard size). Because... my first camera was a Leica M5 with a 35/1.4 and a 90/2 (a hand-me-down from my dad when he was transitioning from 35mm to Rollei/Hasselbald 6x6 and Linhof/Schneider 4x5). He stressed IQ (lenses/glass) since "the camera" was only a film holder. So I guess it rubbed-off. Which is different form today... where, of course, "the camera" IS the film -- coupled with the lenses -- to capture the image. As I said, I have work to do on the "art" side of things. LOL. Anyway... those are nice pics. Similar to what you have shown here, I will probably be posting some flower shots in the near future since I have a healthy Rhododendron in front of my window that will be blooming soon. I visited a beautiful rose garden in Spokane last year (June) whihc was a treat. And there is an amazing garden nearby which I visited during Covid (in 2020)... need to go back for a look. It was quite impressive.

Impressive gear list, apart from Leicas (lllf/M3/M6/R6.2) moving onto Leica digitals and Olympus, Canon, Nikon cameras.. At 82 I now just have my CL (few Leica lenses) D-Lux7 & carry around V-Lux40.. First camera was a Box Brownie..And then, in the early 80s, I traded the M5 for an R3 with the APO-Telyt-R 180 (very nice lens). Naturally, the Leica gear was expensive, and I wanted new things to play with. So, my dad made arrangements with a nice camera shop in Vancouver BC where I traded the Lecia stuff for a couple of Canon AE-1 bodies and several lenses (back in 1981-ish). Did a lot of darkroom work in those days (fun). The film gear lasted until I got an Oly D320 in 1997 followed by an FZ30,, D300, D7100 and D810. It's a fun hobby.
