Greetings from the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Thanks for rekindling those memories.
Ken, I know u r in FL now...but if u ever make it back to Titletown, Western WI, anywhere in MN, or parts close by...drop me a PM. I'd love to wet a line with u on a nice trout stream at the Kinnikinnick State Park just south of River Falls, and talk some Purple vs. Pack smack with u, over a couple of beers and some good WI cheese slathered over real Russian rye bread.

The bakery in Birchwood also does the best bread "Borodinsky" I've ever had outside of Russia, Belarus, or Ukraine. They don't make it often, but when they do...a special treat

My grandfather used to tell me that everyone in MN lived and died with Packer football before the Vikings became an expansion team in 1961 (5 years before I arrived on the planet.). Remember the other expansion team in '61? The Dallas Cowboys.

I've long given up on seeing the Vikings win a SB in my lifetime. As long as they are competitive and beat the Packers and the Bears, then I'll be happy. I much more enjoy my alma mater playing for the Axe, Floyd of Rosedale, and of course, the Little Brown Jug. I'm pretty sure of all the football stadiums I've ever been to in my life, Camp Randall has got to be a close 2nd to The Bank in Minneapolis as far as games attended.

Thanks for the kind offer. Minnesota is a beautiful state. Sounds like fun. I will keep that in mind. I doubt I would ever make it that far west of Green Bay. I have been avoiding driving back even to see my grandkids. My wife will make me drive to Green Bay sooner or later though. I doubt I would drive the extra miles. The older I get the less I like driving. I just like getting out with my camera these days. (-:
