My name is Tord (a 'small Thor', linguists tell me) and I've just joined after DPReview is closing down!
I started my life with cameras around 1961 when I got a Kodak Brownie Starlet at age 9!
Then I was very active in the Seventies, using Hasselblads, Sinars, Leica M3, and my own Edixa Reflex one of the early SLRs. And I soon switched to two Minox 35s, one with Tri-X and one with slide film. But around '80 I worked in places where cameras were not allowed, so it was not until I met my wife some twenty years ago I started anew, and then to today, when I shoot with an array of cameras, but most of them are Nikon, from Nikon 1 to FX. All digital nowadays, as I got allergic to the chemicals!
Interested in everything that flies, like insects, birds, and aircraft! Retired after over 25 years of bus driving.
Auf wiederhören!
