Greetings!
Residing slightly outside and to the north-west of Toronto, there's a myriad of photo opportunities within relatively short distances. The ever increasing problem is to find the time to dedicate to the hobby.
My current project is to develop a greater understanding of the newest acquisition, the Pentax K-1. Although I've shot Pentax going on 40 years, this camera is perhaps the most exciting with its potential but with that, the steepest learning curve. Photographically my preferences are: a developing interest in portraiture (formal, performance, street, candid, etc.) and the longer term in scenery and machinery (particularly antique equipment and aircraft or any variety of cars but especially anything on a track).
Personally, I'm more of a social shooter generally preferring to enjoy shooting opportunities with others to collectively learn and swap lies about the hobby.
