Help Video cam on strike!

G'day everyone,.....

Odd one this,....

My handy cam was working fine.
Next day I fire it up and the screen is blank, it still shows the icons so I know the screen itself is working.
The thing is its NOT showing what the camera is seeing so it will NOT take stills or video.
Where can I get it fixed?
Every camera shop I went to seems to be closed!
Any help as to where to take it?
