For others that look at this...what was your settings...and exposure time...

1/125 sec, ISO 50, f 5,6, focal length 23mm, manual exposure. I shoot IR with Nikons too and I do not wait the camera to exposure well with the filter on the lens.So I take some 2-3 shots to find the best exposure.
