Terre de Singes is Lumigny's second zoological park. There you can meet Barbary macaques (or magots) in a free-ranging forest. Groups of macaques are dominated by individuals who acquire their status through their ability to maintain good relations with their fellow macaques. The more allies they have, the higher their status. Delousing is a social behavior that strengthens group bonds.
