I am about to move to digital after more than 20 years of Nikon film cameras. I am torn between getting the D70 or the Canon G6 compact. One of the attractions of the Compact is the ability to see the image in Black & White in advance of taking the shot. While I know the current SLR designs preclude the real time LCD image display has anyone managed to change the D70 display to monochrome? I would love to be able to 'see' in Black and White.
