Yes, it certainly was/is. Especially if you got it during "Contax Days" ;-), it was %10 off, PLUS the $500 rebate if you got the "kit" (G2 body, 45/2, TLA-200). Which makes this cost $1399.95 - $139.99 - $500 or $759.96. Now it will cost you $139.99 more, and it is still a fantastic deal.

The viewfinder, as expected, is huge and bright on the M7II, kind of like an overgrown Leica M. I initially was put off by the G viewfinder, but got used to it quickly and really don't give it a thought when composing and shooting.
