A few years back there was a person selling new Polaroid iS2634 cameras for very cheap on eBay. I bought one and, unfortunately, the IQ was just not quite right. It became my only low tech bridge camera. On occasion, it will render an image I can use.

You know, compared to a modern flagship -- or even entry FF -- what can I say? It is what it is.
But I don't think a modern image would make me want to sit with friends on those benches and enjoy the beautiful surroundings any more than your "old" image does.
 
Thanks for the nice comment. Indeed, those benches get used quite a bit, especially during the colorful Fall season.
