I remember many years ago boiling kettles to get really hot water to bring chemicals up to temperature and spending 30 minutes or so doing it. In this modern world I just put them in the microwave for a few seconds (colour - 38C - about 90 seconds!). Wouldn't try shoving the dev tank, complete with film, in there, though!

Also, isn't it great that modern emulsions seem unaffected by reticulation.
