FYI I have been all through your gallery and it was worth finishing it off indeed. Thanks Dino, all of my wildlife photos are with Pentax bodies K7, K5II and lately K-3iii (though the K-3iii is yet to visit Zambia with me). Lenses used in Zambia are primarily the Sigma 50-500mm DG OS HSM, Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX Macro HSMII, Pentax DA 18-270mm SDM, Pentax smc DA 55-300mm, and some with the Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 HSMII.
For general travel in other parts of the world... one of the above mentioned Pentax DSLRs (mostly combined with the 18-270 SDM or a Sigma 17-50mm f/2,8 HSM), plus at times (when I had them) the Pentax istDs, Pentax K10D and the Mrs' Panasonic Lumix FZ300.
I don't quite have the eye for capturing good urban scenes and people that you do, so when next travelling in a city environment, I will be keeping your B&W urban series in mind when looking at composition
Some of the shots of animals feeding on carcasses are incredible powerful experience. Yes I have seen this on the TV before many times but there is something a lot more moving and shocking seeing those shots in your gallery on DPR. You were stood there close to the action really and that is somehow makes it very real. There's a 50mm shot with some elephants on the move a long way away. There's lions and Leopards but also some of the more ordinary subjects animals are given extra magic because of where you shoot in real wild lands of the earth.
I will enjoy again soon when I am logged in on my home HP. Regards my urban shots. Believe me a lot of them are complete nonsense and even I would not let you see all of the rubbish that I get in the city shots. I kind of like doing them though because I know there is great potential in city shots.
