New Lenses

So, Pentax has announced x2 new(ish) 50mm f/1.4 lenses... that were NOT on the lens roadmap.
I dunno Is Pentax just toying with me here ... or is this really a subliminal 'coded' message that a 50-500(ish)mm lens is on its way soon ??

I agree with RBIV, there is already more than enough those standard (focal length) lenses for the Pentax FF camera. Anyway, my favourite (FF) lens was of a shorter FL, it was the Flektogon (now you know why I choose this acronym) 35/2.4! The closest is the Pentax FA 35/2.0, which would be my choice if I had the FF body. On my cropped sensor-camera(s) is the most used FL around 23mm, so my DA 21/3.2 serves me optimally.

So, since Pentax are announcing new lenses hither and thither (that were not on the lens roadmap) ... What un-mapped lens would YOU like to see them announce next, in their new spirit of new un-mapped lens releases.??...
I just hope that I can keep up with all this activity

I am not a "zoom guy", therefore I would look more on the FFL. I have currently the 77mm and 43mm limited. I think I would look more in the direction of a 28 or 25mm as a limited edition FFL.

The problem with the limited edition is the price. My biggest wish would be prices we are able to pay. If you look at how the whole industry is raising the prices, it makes it difficult in the future to have a broad range of lenses within one system or several different systems at the same time.

I also would love to see a small and compact fullframe body that suits in size to my limted lenses.

I probably would like to see that body more than new lenses. 24MP would be already enough. No AA filter. A DSLR with a great viewfinder and great grip and handling. In the line of the K7 or K5IIs, but in fullframe.

Pentax will be probably the last brand, which will offer DSLRs in the future. This alone is a reason to own one. I like all my MLUs, but I want to have one DSLR also in the future and Pentax is at the top of my wish list for this. The current models are too big/thick for my taste.
