Nikon 14mm

Having just purchased the full frame Kodak ProSLR I am hesitant in buying the Sigma 14mm as I had planned. Although ok for 1.6 loss factor DSLRs I expect to see significant quality loss in edges on a full frame camera. My question to anyone out there is does the Nikon 14mm deliver sharpness & contrast quality above the Sigma that would justify the 2x price? I have searched for test compaisons between these two lenses but have found none.
