I am going to buy a Nikon D80 within the next two weeks. I attend a local dirt track every weekend - we have a family friend that drives a dirt late model and I love taking pictures of the cars on and off the track. I am new at this and this will be my first digital camera. Can someone please give me some advice as to what kind of lens(es), flash, etc....that I should buy. I am thinking that I would need some type of wide angle lens to be able to get two and three wide action in the corners. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I also want something that would be good to use while taking pictures of children - I have a lot of nieces, nephews and god children........Thank you so much!
