Was a bit too far away to get the best pictures of this, but I've never seen a Green Heron do like this - he jumped in the water like he needed a bath, shook around and walked back out :)
Well I've never seen one at all, I could only wish for pictures like these in that context but you got the bonus-behavior as well :z04-9856:

I don't normally post wildlife photos. In fact this will be my first post. My usual thing is to take photos of trains.

Today I went on a bush walk in a regional area and basically bumped into two creatures along the way.

The first is an echidna, a cute and shy little creature. The second is not so cute - a goanna.
