Le Gué is an ephemeral installation marking the centenary of the acquisition of the Domaine de Sceaux (in France, near Paris) by the Conseil Général de la Seine. It allows visitors to the park to travel from Sceaux to Antony (and vice versa) by crossing the Grand Canal. Hopefully, it won't be a truly immersive experience for anyone!

I know what You're talking about. Once I almost drowned my E-PL 1 when I tried a better composition while visiting Mogol's gardens in Srinagar. There was a central water channel as the main axis of the terraced arrangement of one garden. There was maybe no more than 2-5 cm of water, so I went into it with the camera in hands. Just forgot about slippery algae film on the sandstone plates of the bottom. Confrontation with gravity and water was unavoidable :p

-J.

Phew, this was bad (although your almost sounds a bit reassuring). In the present case, I do not think there were any algae as the installation was just a few days old and is temporary anyway.
