Great shot. How come so much steam low down? It looks a bit fast for the drain cocks to be open.

There's permanent speed restriction through the station which is on a curve about 400metres behind. Locos generally only start pulling strongly as the load clears the platforms.
- and it was quite a cold morning etc. I thought it was the sanders being applied.
