Thanks, Jason, for your response. My flash works well. I've used it for a long time with my other camera body (a 139Q) and never failed. When I shot the RTS3 the flash fires.

I've tested that with MM and AE lenses.

I've written here because it's strange for me using this kind of feature only switching a lever, without pressing after any button.

>It sound like there is a problem with your camera. There is no button you need to push. Just operate the lever and the flash should go off and a flash meter reading is displayed in the viewfinder. The lenses should not make any difference.
