RF-S 18-150 mm lens

Has anyone experience of this lens. Is it just a modification of the EF-M lens? I have just replaced my M50 with an R10. The EF-M IQ was average, being soft in the corners, and I was wondering whether to buy the RF-S version. I am at the moment using a very old EF-S 18-135 mm IS lens with the EF/RF adaptor on the R10.. Pixel peeping on RAW images, the EF-S lens on the R10 appears to be sharper than the EF-M lens on the M50.
