I've never run into one of these at the marsh we normally bird hunt in.

Nice capture! They're not really a "marsh" species but are fairly common in the eastern US all the way up into Canada.

Put a hummingbird feeder out. I have a couple of feeders in my back yard and see hummers every 10 minutes or so at them.

I was surprised to see it there too, but there were many brightly colored flowers blooming. I have two feeders up too but have only gotten a lone female so far.
