I am a new member, so this may be an inappropriate question for this forum. I have an old Pentax ME, serial number 9894785. Can anyone tell me in what year it was made ? Thanks.
 
I couldn't tell you the exact year, but the Pentax ME came on the market in 1976.

Judging by the number I would say it's one of the last ones to be manufactured. Have you contacted Pentax in Japan?
