This house is uninhabited since a couple of years but is still used as a chickenhouse .
To be honest , I am really waiting for that building to collapse . I go there every month to see if it will happen soon .:oops:
Cool documentation of a dying building. Seems like it was very nice at one time. A shame to see it go.

Little orchard with sunset. Pentax 645Z with Pentax 400mm. It was windy so I couldn't take multiple brackets for HDR. Had to do some major post processing, and that isn't one of my strengths. I started off with transparency film - get it right in camera! Hope this doesn't look too artificial.
Thanks for looking.

Hi
I can make a contribution here. I shot a series of pictures for the other forum special editors challenge and so can post something here from my big daddy 645D that was used for that challenge. There is a ton of flare from the lens when used in this situation but I love the puzzle and it has made the lens more useful and not as many would expect less useful.

There is some minor PP softening horizon but only part of the horizon got that treatment so the lens did exact same thing in most of the horizon. There is a massive colour cast as well from the flare with a ;lot of yellow but that is ok. I imagine the results could even be interesting with film but more hit and miss. Very interesting lens shooting into the sun.

@barondla

Thank you for your kind words .

I love architectural photography and must say , it does not only cover shooting modern high buildings , but also industrial buildings , churches , bridges etc. but also buildings in old cities .
The Netherlands (especially ROTTERDAM) are a paradise for shooting modern architecture , but it is too far away from where i live (far south of GERMANY) and I do not travel a lot anymore .
Shooting in old cities can be quite difficult , as the streets are very narrow and you fight often very deep shades from the buildings and finding good perspectives .
Also , the day of the week can cause much trouble . Too many cars , too many people and often big waste bins destroy a good view and lots of other things require your patience .

I will post some more images from KEMPTEN soon .
Have a nice day . Jürgen .
