Hi Andy.
My wife and I spent a week on Skye at the end of September this year. I was just getting to know my 300c/m and I managed to get a "clear" shot of the Cuillins.
I've been a couple of times before (when I lived in Perth) but didn't get such an uninterrupted view. I support fully your comment on needing a bit wider view - hence the reason I just got the 40mm. Hoping to go back one day and do the job again.

PS - 500c/m, Distagon 60mm CT*, Fuji Acros (lab processed) and tweaked / toned in CS3 and LR2.

Probably 500 C/M named after the fastest shutter speed of the lenses.
An old habit to use the fastest shutterspeed as model name for bodies and their lenses.
Hasselblad used that for the first time with the 1000F body. What is commonly know as the 1600F camera was simply marketed as Hasselblad camera.
With the arrival of the 1000F people also wanted to give the first Hasselblad MF body a name. It became 1600F after its fastest (theoretical) shutterspeed. Only very small numbers of 1600F bodies actually managed to reach this speed.

Just a simple typo....! I have the 500c/m. Unfortunately, by the time I realised my typing error, the 5 minute window to correct had expired.

Yes, i wish this option to be on all or many forums and not just here, many times i have mistakes on my typing and i keep correct it within 2-5 minutes, so up to 10 minutes will be good enough.
