Some critters from our Memorial Day weekend

It was a little challenging tracking down critters with so many people around, but we found some. The groundhogs were all over the place - I'm sure the neighboring golf course was happy. (I'll break this post into two parts).

I think your warbler is an immature Tennessee Warbler. But I'm not 100% on that!

If it is, I'm just a hair outside of their range (Northern New England), but I've had all kinds of bi8rds this year that I've never run across, so it's possible!

At least according to eBird there have been plenty of sightings in VT, NH, ME, and into New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

I currently live in South Carolina so I only get to see them when they are migrating.

Maybe he's lost, lol. I've heard they were north of me (the range you stated), but in asking around, nobody local has seen them here. Exciting for me, if it is one!
