It is. I love it. I recently got another one when my old one started having problems
Mine is hardly used. ( was hardly used. I use it a fair bit currently. ) I could shoot far more in a few months than what was on the counter. Weeks even.
The AF is very close to D700. Hardly anything in it in my night photo uses. YMMV shall we say before all hell breaks loose.
