Silly, but it hit me funny. Comedian Steven Wright told a photog joke. He said a guy went nuts trying to take a closeup of the horizon.

Just use a 500mm lens instead of a 20mm lens. Now I feel silly writing this because I am probably "missing" the joke? Would not be the first time. Right over my head.

Nice. I remember similar story, at some old usenet group about photography. Someone asked (seriously!) what a flash unit he should use to lit... a night panorama of Budapest city. Most answers suggested 1 kt nuke or similar exotic solutions
