What are the advantages and disadvantges to using this lens? I'm interested because I want to carry a kit with my in the field (Baghdad, Iraq) that isn't too big BUT will also cover the focal lengths I use the most (28 - 50mm). Thanks.

Bill.

Advantage: three lenses in one (be careful, it is not a zoom lens!) Disvantage: f/4, so you almost always need a 400ISO film On this subject, see

Apologise for the incomplete message. Advantage: three lenses in one (be careful, it is not a zoom lens!). Disvantage: f/4, so you almost always need a 400ISO film. On this subject, see

Thanks, I'm trying but keeping my head down is a tad difficult right now.

I'm not sure if the lens is right for me at the moment. I like shooting with prime lenses; they make me work more for my shots.

But I may buy it in the future, especially if Leica comes out with a digital M.

Peace.
