Vignetting with Zeiss 28-85 zoom

I have bought a 28-85 zoom and I am quite surprise by the vignetting (at maximum aperture I think)
Do you think it is normal ?

here is an ex&le

In fact the vignetting is visible in the viewfinder. The corners and the top of the viewfinder are much darker. If I use my 50mm instead, the corners are slightly darker too but it is nothing compared with the zoom.

David,

What kind of filter are you using? And which hood are you using? Contax says to use the W-1 hood, which is what I use. I have had no problems with vignetting with my 28-85 + filter + W-1 hood.

Sorry, I had not answered the question about the filter : I use a standard Contax UV filter.
Removing it does not change anything.

How long have you had the lens? Did you buy it new? What happens to the vignetting corners as you zoom from 28mm to 85mm? I am almost out of ideas.

I use 28-85 and I notice the vignetting in the viewfinder on 28mm even if there is no filter or hood attached.
