What's up on february first 2010 at 18:00 ?

I can't help thinking about the announcement the V series will be no longer available.
The 80 mm CFi lens is no longer available.
Please excuse me for thinking this negative.

Possible but not logical. HB would not be spending time and money on making an essentially negative announcement. Does not make much sense to put your marketing funds into. The demise of V will be a stealthy one I imagine.

You are probably right besides the fact that only under exceptional circumstances does Hasselblad give this kind of marketing information.
Hasselblad simply confronts customers with NLA when the time comes.

That leaves us with the option of the introduction of a new product line?

I doubt they would announce the discontinuation of anything to do with the V series ... that would be beyond stupid marketing. If the V series goes ... it'll be with a whimper, not a bang ... or maybe more like a glorious sunset.

If this isn't hardware, or photographic image software, ... I doubt it'll be of any interest to me.

There are a million different paths on the internet to get work out in front of people. If it is a Hasselblad sponsored shopping stall, I'll be even less interested ... Adobe tried getting in the stock business, and wasted band-width and my RAM with that ill conceived notion before bowing out.

DISAPPOINTED!

But I should have known better than to apply my dreams to their schemes ... LOL!
