Which DSLR for my Zeiss lenses

DJ,

Checked out the other pics in the series on your site. You definitely have an eye for composition. The Malaysia shots are really nice too.

I'm sort of a newbie to Contax. I've had a 167MT with several different lenses for the past three years and I recently picked up a 2nd hand N1 with the 28-70mm lens from a local shop. I have really had a blast with it although I need to save up some dough for my next lens.

Any suggestions from the group for what lenses to consider that won't cost me an arm and a leg. I really prefer doing outdoor shots. Also if anyone is interested, I may be selling my Contax 167MT and lenses to fund some N1 lenses. I've got a 1.7/50mm, 2.8/135mm, 4/80-200mm zoom. All of these are the manual T* lenses and I also have a Cambron 3x teleconverter. If anyone is interested, please email me off line.

DJ, We will have to try and come over and go there sometime.
We have only been to the USA once and that was to New York in 1994. We loved it.
We would love to hire a car and do a driving trip but there is so much to see it would be difficult to choose where to go. Maybe several trips are needed.

Jeff, thanks for the appreciation. We try and we do have fun.

John, I flew to Phoenix then drove several hundred miles north. There are many beautiful places in that area. One thing it's easy to forget about the US of A is that it is a large area that has many totally different beautiful places like Yosemite, the Grand Tetons, the Grand Canyon, the Appalachian Trail, etc. The North East in the fall can be absolutely stunning. I still have many left to visit

Of course there's always the option to use a Contax ND and Zeiss N glass : -)

Beauteous! How's the Hassy working, Marc? Still have the 5D too? Having fun?

Yes, beautiful shot; it takes you back to what it must have been like in a bygone age

We'll have to get over there sometime DJ and visit some of these places. We do fancy seeing the fall colours too. Trouble is that our daughter has settled in Australia so we may have to concentrate on going there which could limit our other travels.

Well, that's not so bad, John. Australia certainly has its share of beautiful scenery (I was watching the F1 Grand Prix in Albert Park this morning), and New Zealand is nothing short of gorgeous

If there's one thing photography has taught me, is that there's beauty everywhere if we look for it with our heart as well as our eyes.

I go for that DJ - very well expressed.

New Zealand does look beautiful and has long been somewhere I have wanted to visit.
