White balance preset values in Nikon D1

Anybody knows if it is possible to "read" the internal values that Nikon D1 sets when you choose PRE option in white balance setting?

The short answer to your question is no.

I should qualify my response to your posting by saying that I don't actually have a D1, but a friend of mine knows the camera fairly well and he says that it is an automatic function and a readout of the white ballance Kelvin value is not provided.
