Why Rollei Hy6 at all

dear friends,

I have been using 6006 and then 6008 and 6008af since 2004. It is the only system that you can change extension tubes and multipliers and macro-bellows at will and in any order. look at the old hassies and you know how lucky we are with this system.

never have any jamming of shutters.

Hi Tak:

I agree but there is also some "break" in the system with the transition to the Hy6. Many of the accessories (admittedly not the lenses -apart from the AFD, which lack the aperture ring on the lens, essential for the 6000 series- and related stuff) are not compatible with the 6008 series any more. But you are right, we should be lucky. The transition is less of a drastic break than moving from Hasselblad V to H systems :)
