Hello everyone.

I've got a couple of these extremely rare cameras (estimates vary between 400 and 800 models manufactured, most of which went to the US military).

I need to get one repaired - does anyone know of a suitable repairer? The Honeywell AF is working fine - but there's a locked shutter. I suspect it's essentially the same shutter as in the FX-D but am not sure.

Any help would be appreciated - I've Googled but found nothing.

Cheers,
Graham

Hi Graham,

try in the UK alphadigitalservices (http://alphadigitalservices.co.uk/). This is managed by the former head of Contax UK.

Tell them that you come from Contaxinfo.com

Hi Dirk,

Thank you for the response.

They're not too hot on old Contaxes - not sure how they'll respond to an old Yashica! I'll give them a try....

Best wishes,

Graham
