Zeiss 80-200 MMJ observation

I have a number of Zeiss lenses at this point and they all have a similar feel on the ap ring but this one is very clicky. As well there is a greenish tint on the front.

Fake Zeiss ? or just the decline of quality we see in just about everything these days.

Hi Max

I guess you should send it to Zeiss in Oberkochen...

Do not put it anymore in the same bag as the otheer lenses/cameras...

Not sure I understand. The lens is unique in that it ap ring has stronger clicks than the other japan and germany versions I have. Out of 10 lenses this one seems a remarkable outlier.

Takes good photos though so maybe I am worried about nothing.
