Advise on price please

Hi,
I just wanna thank you all for your inputs that helped me to finaly buy my leica M6. I'm quiet happy with it. I think its a state of the art machine.

Hola Marcos,
do you have bought the M6 with the 50 summicron.? or do you have found one other configuration.? The price.?
I know that the price is important, but what is more important is what you can do with what you buy. If I calculate the price of what my car costs to me, now with the price of petrol, I think that the difference of $200, is not a big difference.
I bought my first Leica, when I had enough with elecronic of my Contax G2, a lot of years ago. After this, I bought other lenses, and a second M6, because when I travel I can't have only one body, for security first, and if I have one film for day light, and I need to take picture in the night with maybe 1600 ASA, the second camera have his good place.
Have a good plaesure with your Leica set.
Salu2.
Laurent

> Hola Marcos,

I am totally in agreement with Laurent, and wanted to add something said by Frederic Henry Royce, co-founder of Rolls Royce; "the quality will be still there long time after that you had forgot the price" ("la calidad permanecera mucho tiempo despues que se haya olvidado el

precio")

If you have the opportunity to buy another body, got an M3. In my opinion, the Rolls Royce of the cameras.

best regards,

Suerte y que la disfrutes !

Salud - os,

Patricio
