Are the G2 & its lenses working well under the cold weather

If all else fails I use the P8 external battery pack with the adapter made for the G2 battery compartment (GP-1 I think) and leave it in my pocket to keep it warm.
 
I figured out why the camera case for G2 (GC-201) has big hole under the battery cover.
 
Never had a problem, I've taken my G1 to 22,000 feet in the Andes. Keep extra batteries in your clothing to keep them warm. I also took the auxialliary battery adaptor, but never needed it.
