Birmingham with K7

Nice. It may be my imagination, but I think these look better on my laptop screen, a 4k monitor.

I also agree with your comment about no right way or wrong way of shooting street. Or maybe anything one photographs for that matter... And as you've mentioned several times before, luck matters as well. :)

Well you are going to know your own screen / eyes / preferences for sure. This is true. 1600 wide does sound small after all so you are confirming yes it is for you at least. Even 2600 looks better you are saying.
I cannot say I see much wrong at 1600 wide on my screen.

Here some from today. K7 and manually focussed Samyang 135mm F2.

I started shooting some street photos last week and it was quite alarming how difficult it was to get results that were satisfying. The standard was way bad nowhere near so I posted nothing from 3 days shooting. Thankfully, today, things started to happen and I like some of the pictures. Here are some from today. Going back to my lucky K7 completely put me back on track. Last week's photos were not great at all.

The buzz is back because the light after work looks amazing in the city so I have confidence that there is great potential. It is a state of mind really. When the light is rubbish it really puts me off shooting even though really the light is not so important with street photos really.

Thanks for looking. Hope you like something.
