Skate boarders are actually my number one fascination when I do this. One day I will do them justice with something really special. That is one of many boxes I must try and tick.

I like Friday's last pic of woman with cellphone.
Thanks for sharing,

Hi
Thanks for looking. barondla. It is all rather self indulgent on my part but I keep posting because the posting drives this funky thread along. It keeps the whole thing going along otherwise once I stop then the whole thing suddenly just stops which is a shame because the shots are there now and again.

Today was special because I shot photos with some brand new " magic " filters shall we call them. I was relieved that they worked because they were not exactly how I had been led to believe shall we say. Immediately through the optical viewfinder I could see that I was in business. The evenings are getting lighter and lighter so fast that soon the night photography will end and I will really miss it actually because the lighting has been so good using city available lighting. Soon I will be using evening sunshine and will likely use a lot of Pentax stuff again with Samyang 135mm F2 and Pentax 200mm F2.8 for example.

Here are some photos from today with new "filters" shall we say used for the first time. I can see they compete with my other method so all is good after an initial concern that they were inferior when I opened the boxes up and looked inside.

Nikon D700 and amazing 105mm F1.4.
