These were taken yesterday. The light is beginning look fantastic as we draw into September. It may not make too much difference in the actual photos strictly speaking but it has a massive affect on my confidence to take shots. Everything looks so much more beautiful in good light and I really get excited by what I might capture even in black and white. It is all in the mind.

It is crazy. I got a bit bored of Summer shooting. Then there were a few breaks from work. Then there was September which is too busy really at work to do these city shots.
I have found myself all of a sudden spring-boarding straight into night photography pretty much. The clocks change soon and then it is night photography.
I shot these today unplanned. The camera was with me for possible sun set shots on the journey back but I liked the city when I arrived.
Here are some from today with a 24 to 70mm which is a first for my city shots. I have shot ApSc before in this range but not FULL FRAME I do not believe.

More today. Old K20 with old Sigma 18 to 50 mm F2.8. Pentax Shake reduction every shot almost. At night I feel better at this.

Hi Dino,
Hurrah you can shoot pentax if you try
You are less likely to get mugged too?
I bet it was a welcome relief from the 2.2KG D3x combo? More discreet too
I am never happy with the horizons being level using shake reduction to be honest.

Last image looks sci-fi. Monsters are top left looking down on smoke stacks. Neat vibe.
Thanks for sharing,
barondla
Indeed a strange image. It is pushed over into noise and there is this distortion in the colour that looks like banding but is actually the seats pattern. That is the biggest feature for me personally but perhaps I am just simply making a fuss because it is a new effect. It will not be so important next time. Always thanks for looking. Always.
