This a camera challenge that has run for years in DPReview. It started out as a challenge only for Canon Cameras, as has evolved to accept photos from any camera.
Photos are posted by the photographer and cataloged on pbase.com
We are currently a small informal group which exists primarily to have fun.
The voting is done by the contributing members on a spreadsheet shared in Google Docs. We only vote on the photos in Eligible, though we have an exhibition gallery.
The winner gets to choose the next topic (we look for wide topics, not narrow) and post the new thread. We encourage comments on photos.
Sometimes we critique a photo, and make constructive suggestions. Sometimes a photographer swaps out a photo for a new one during our time period.
We try to adhere to a topic, but creativity is welcomed.
