A very good questionAll of them are great shots with the first one being my favorite. Was it cropped? I'm curious to see what the antlers are attached to.
A very good questionYes I always crop bird shots and this one is out in the middle of nowhere on a river where there are two boat sheds with jetties. On one of those is a fixed stag skull, but of course it needed cropping to get what I posted in that shot.
So for you since you asked.......... hang on, I need to dig it out ........

Great shots Danny. You have a lot of skill. Especially love the firs. Looks like a cormorant sitting on the horn of an off camera giant deer. But it’s only a tree.View attachment 797

Various camera boxes with Olympus and Sony, but all with the 35-40 year old Canon FD 500 F/5.6L, still an excellent lens.
