D7D do you love it

Does anyone know how to interpret the meaning of the 7D serial numbers? My serial number is 014054XX. Perhaps there is no meaning!

I have had the 7D since Mar 05, It is a superb camera, very much like my 35mm Maxxum 7. No problems experienced.

1/4000sec is more than fast enough for the vast majority of photo types, especially with the easily accessed ISO settings.

I have just purchased a 5600HS(D) flash as my 5400HS was not totally compatible. Has anyone got any advice to offer on the use of the 7D and 5600HS(D). IE Any quirks I should know about?

I must say that construction wise, the 7D leaves the Canon D10, D20 and Nikon D70 in the dust. JMO.
